MR MARVIS Antwerp is added to the series of the brands physical stores designed by Standard Studio.
The new Mr Marvis store is located in the Schuttershofstraat, one of the main shopping streets of Antwerp The storefront is about 8 meters wide and the ceiling is about 4 meters high. As a result it is very light and bright and creates a lot of exposure toward the street and the adjacent Wapper Plaza.
In this street you can go shopping for the big fashion brands. The shopfront of the Mr Marvis store creates an inviting and open atmosphere toward the street. An impressive bright and white background of the interior is the perfect canvas for the colorful shorts that Mr Marvis is famous for. The collection is displayed in a long cabinet that stretches from the back of the store to the front of the store and is curved upwards as if it is piercing through the floor above.
Once inside, the visitor is surrounded by light and will be guided into the store by two big curved shapes. One is the counter, and the other one is the iconic stretched wall cabinet that was developed by Standard Standard Studio, MR MARVIS and interior builder Roord Binnenbouw. The wall cabinet flows entirely to the back of the space where you will find the fitting rooms accompanied by the size sets.
The Antwerp Mr. Marvis Store is designed in such a way that the interior elements don’t attract too much attention. Because the visuals and the shorts are exactly the opposite of that they get all of the attention of your eyes. The colours are bright and follow the rainbow’s color palette from the front to the back.
