Ace & Tate Haarlemmerstraat
Ace & Tate Haarlemmerstraat
The design of the Amsterdam Ace & Tate store is dedicated to one of Amsterdams most influential graphic designers Willem Sandberg. Sandberg was the director of the Stedelijk Museum for over almost two decades. Together with the opening of the store on the Haarlemmerstraat a tour in the Stedelijk was introduced through the most inspiring art according to Ace & Tate.
The store hosts four prints by artist Bart de Beats which he inspired on the works of Sandberg. They are on display behind the counter. A neon installation by de Baets hangs on the wall near the window, grabbing the attention of passers-by. The form and colors of the interior are inspired by the artworks. Another feature we created and designed for the store is an in store photobooth where you can fit the frames and send pictures directly to ask the opinion of your friends.
