The customizable machines can be found in public spaces such as railway stations, airports and fit perfect in headquarters, event centers, hospitals and so on. Designed to take with you on your commute, as healthy solution to your office canteen or to enjoy at home – available 24/7 – put in hands in just a few seconds.
Health Food Wall is founded in 2018 and opened its first pop-up store in the center of Amsterdam with great success. Founder Anouk Snelders and Business Manager Tom Meijer reached out to Standard Studio with a design brief to retrofit the vending machine to fit the brand’s concept and mission; offering a solution for the growing demand for healthy food, speed and efficiency.
At Standard Studio we wanted to enhance the customer’s feeling of buying a healthy meal. Wanting to find the balance between the smart and efficient technology and natural and fresh food. Health Food Wall meals are chef-curated and made with love, what is been defined as the “green heart” and translated in a foliage print. The green heart is built-in a solid oak wooden slats raster – showing the strength of nature. The combination of the technology of the vending machine, foliage print and natural materials proof that something that’s fast and easy does not have to be distant nor robotic. The automat has rounded edges to give the wall a soft appearance. On the sides of the automat, the oak wooden slats are held back, as if the green leaves want to break free from the its skin – showing the green heart of the brand.
Health Food Walls’ first location is at Schiphol Plaza Airport in the departure hall offering their travellers, employees and visitors an unique and innovative healthy take-away experience. Health Food Wall is a thriving business, many other locations are to be enrolled soon.
